Community Psychiatric Centers is a mental health partnership of Dr. Robert A. Lowenstein, M.D. and Dr. John E. Carosso, Psy.D., dedicated to diagnosing and treating children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues, including those on the autism spectrum. Please see the section titled "Who We Are" for more information about our services, and biographies of Dr. Lowenstein and Dr. Carosso. Additional information is also available in our brochure.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality mental health services including counseling, psychiatric and psychological evaluations, medication management, and wraparound treatment services for children, adolescents and adults in their home and community settings, and at our four Licensed Outpatient Clinic locations.

Our services begin with an evaluation with Dr. Lowenstein or Dr. Carosso, with subsequent therapy provided by our highly trained and qualified Master's and Bachelor-degreed practitioners, and with the prescription of medication as needed.

We provide multi-disciplinary wraparound BHRS mental health services in seven Southwestern Pennsylvania counties including Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington, Fayette, Greene, Armstrong, and Indiana. We are licensed by the Commonwealth as a Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic with clinic locations in Pittsburgh, Monroeville, Greensburg, and Monessen. BHRS wraparound evaluations are also available in offices located in New Kensington, Blairsville, and Washington, PA. Our treatment approach is tailored to meet individualized needs. We have many years of combined experience and expertise in the treatment many mental health conditions including ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autism Spectrum and Developmental Disorders, Trauma, Anxiety, Bipolar, Disorder, Depression, Learning Problems, and Addiction/Substance Abuse.

We have assembled a group of highly trained and supervised professionals who are available to work with you and your family in addressing your family's needs.
